Hello, I’m Crystal, creator of the Sowing Gratitude Journal.
This journal was born from my personal journey through some of life’s toughest challenges—a difficult divorce, single mother of 3, navigating the joys and struggles of raising a child with special needs, and facing my own health battles. Along the way, I’ve learned the profound importance of peace, patience, and having grace for myself and others.
As an eternal optimist, I believe in the power of gratitude to transform lives. My own journey began with the simple practice of writing down three things I was grateful for each day. At first, I struggled to come up with even one. But over time, as I leaned into this practice, it began to change my perspective—and ultimately, my life.
I created the Sowing Gratitude Journal as a tool for others to embark on their own healing journeys. This journal isn’t just about writing down your thoughts; it’s a space to reflect, grow, and nurture your soul. Over the course of 90+ days, it will guide you through practices of gratitude, affirmations, and reflections on Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Mildness, and Self-Control. It’s designed to help you see the good in your life and offer grace for the hurtful moments that have shaped you.
Gratitude, for me, is more than a practice—it’s a way of being. In a world that bombards us with negativity every day, gratitude is the armor we need to protect our hearts and minds. My hope is that this journal inspires you to embrace gratitude, heal your heart, and cultivate the peace and joy you deserve.
